"Books. All knowledge is contained in books. Books give you answers, books open doors for the mind, and books will probably save your life. And me... I'm the bookkeeper.

Comments: The Librarian had no exposure to the mystical world until he was assigned to look after the Godwin Collection of rare books at the University of Toronto library. The Godwin Collection was bequeathed to the university after the tragic (and horrifying) death of Old Mr. Godwin, a local occult enthusiast.

While carrying out requests for the university metaphysics department and some of the interesting characters who frequent the collection, the Librarian slowly began to realize that there was more than just the Seen parts of Toronto.

Special Abilities: The Librarian has a wide set of arcane knowledge skills. He also has some useful contacts.

The Librarian has access to the University central database: records about all faculty, staff, students... and information about who is borrowing which books!
