BACKGROUND

At the age 11, Bobbie Ballard discovered that he was a mutant. Bobbie understood what it meant to be a mutant. He'd read every issue of the Z-Men comics. Being a mutant meant being an outcast from society. Always being different. Drama! Pathos!

Bobbie didn't feel any of those things. Instead, he felt excited. Mutant meant superhero. Cool costumes. Cosmic battles.

Donning a blue and white outfit, Bobbie dubbed himself Blizzard and applied to join the Crusaders. He loved fighting crime and helping people. He's a bit less fond of watch duty and monitoring the Crusaders hotline.

Recently, Bobby has turned his love of comics into a career. He writes and draws Ninjaman, the title du jour in the comics world. His schedule has become more hectic, recently, because of his newly-acquired convention schedule, but he still finds time to fight crime.


POWERS/TACTICS
Blizzard has a number of abilities associated with ice and wind. His favorite attack is to create ice boulders and hurl them at people. Less frequently, he fires high-speed gusts of wind at people (often, after laying down ice on the floors). He can also transform himself into living wind.

Blizzard's costume is a pale blue unitard with darker blue briefs. The costume has white fur around the shoulders and upper chest, on the forearms, and around the upper part of his boots. He wears a blue facemask that leaves his long white hair exposed.

Out of costume, Robert Ballard is a tall caucasian man with long unusually white hair which he often wears in a ponytail. He often wears jeans, plain shirts and a tweed blazer. He often has drawing pens in his shirt pocket. Sometimes he wears licensed Ninjaman T-shirts.
