Brother Battle Adept Robes

Priests who belong to the Brother Battle may have been given "Adept Robes" if they have distinguished themselves in service (i.e., if the character has paid the points). Adept robes are powered armour battlesuits controlled by the Brother Battle order. The technology to build these suits is lost, but the order has access to several such suits and they are used by the best or most promising members of the order.

These adept robes are passed from on from one Brother Battle priest to another. They cannot be purchased on the open market, and only characters who belong to Brother Battle may spend character points for them.

Energy Shield

An energy shield is a common form of defence worn by nobles and other free people. Energy Shields have one key weakness: they only activate when hit with a sufficiently hardy force. Energy Shields are, therefore, very effective at stopping blasters, but less effective with a simple rapier. As a result of this weakness, fencing has become a key skill for fighting with an enemy who might be wearing an energy shield. A fencers seeks to hit an opponent strong enough to do damage, but not enough force to activate the shield.
